11,000+ Hours.
In just 10 months we provided over 11,000 hours of FREE time for kids to skate, create and connect in community with staff, volunteers, friends and leaders in our local nonprofit and business network.
Workshops!
The “S” in our SKATER Code stands for Share. In 2022, at the SOLID HQ, we spent over 250 hours sharing knowledge, skills, and access to tools and equipment. These were just a few of our amazing workshops:

SkateClub
SkateClub is our weekly meal together and discussion group. It’s a program we’ve had at SOLID since the very beginning - 20 years ago. There’s no better way to build community than eating with friends and enjoying meaningful conversation.
Special Events and New Programs
The SOLID HQ allowed us to offer new programs and host special events. We created new jobs in the community with our Skate Lesson Program, and we absolutely loved hosting groups like the Girls Skate Jam and Ol’ Timers.

Working along side and in collaboration with organizations around the Tri-State area made this year a huge success.
